Daventry Dog Training Club is a non profit organisation that provides obedience training for pet dog owners in conjunction with the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme. It is run for its members by its members.

Modern and kind training methods are used to train handlers and dogs
and we use non-slip hygienic flooring in the hall, providing a safe environment
for your dog to learn and socialise with other dogs. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and micro chipped

We meet on Monday evenings at the Daventry Community Centre and run
classes as follows:

Puppy foundation - 6.15 pm to 7 pm £45 for 8 week course
On successful completion of the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Course, you are invited to become a full member of DDTC for an annual fee of £40. You can then progress towards the Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club Awards and enjoy various other activities available for our members throughout the year. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an appropriate adult.

Beginners dogs (bronze) 7.05pm to 7.50pm club members only (FULL)
Intermediate (silver) 7.55pm to 8.40pm club members only (FULL)
Advanced (gold) 8.45pm to 9.30pm club members only (FULL)
All dogs must by law be microchipped

For information on the next puppy intake please contact [email protected] with the breed and age of your dog and we will send you a registration form and further information. All puppies are required to be fully vaccinated and Under Government Legislation all dogs are required to be micro chipped.
We train on a Monday evening, and the puppy class runs from 6.15pm to 7pm. Puppies need to be no more that 12 months at time of registration
On completion of the Puppy Foundation Course, you can become a full member of DDTC.
Annual Membership fee £40 or £30 for 60 and over.

Once a fully paid up member you can continue your training through the following awards:-
Bronze, silver and gold courses are free of charge, but there is a £1 class fee on attendance.
Approximate 12 week course Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizens Award (on successful completion of puppy)
Approximate 12 week course. Kennel Club Silver Good Citizens Award (on successful completion of Bronze)
Approximate 12 week course. Kennel Club Gold Good Citizens Award (on successful completion of Silver)
Bronze course times: 7.05pm to 7.50pm and 7.55pm to 8.40pm.
Silver & Gold course time: 8.45pm to 9.30pm.
